The technique of the book follows Hedi Kyle’s flag book. Both covers and the flags (‘waves’) are original screenprints on upcycled and repurposed drinks carton material. The pattern on the screenprinting flags is based on pigment washes that are printed in two directions and colours and with added paper stencils. The storage box is also made from upcycled drinks cartons.
